With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Mae Manzer (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Pettigrew and Margaret Pettigrew; her husband G. Douglas Manzer (Dougie); her siblings, John Pettigrew (Shirley) and Diane Quigley (Ron); and her sister-in-law Marilyn Manzer.
She is survived by: her siblings, Harold Pettigrew (Pauline), Shirley Ferris (Kenny) and George Pettigrew (Claudette Mallais); her children, Kim McLean (Preston), Mike Margeson (Kim), Julie Manzer (Bill Booth), Robin Manzer (Kim) and Amy Manzer (Paul Porter); her grandchildren, Robbie (Kaitlyn), Christopher Margeson, Morgan (Scott), Matthew (Katie), Jacob, Katrina (Chace), Reese, Ella (AJ), Sarah, Christopher Porter, Paige and Lily; and her great grandchildren, Paisley, Avery and Hollis.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Campbell's Funeral Home (98 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B4).
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to The Bridge Adult Service Center or a charity of your choice.
