He is survived by : his significant other Judy (Thompson); his sons, Eric Charles Jr. (Shawna) of Amherst, NS, James (Beth) of Waverly, NS and Michael (Monica) of North Sidney, NS; his grandchildren, MacKenzie Black of Halifax, NS, Machala Black of North Sidney, NS, Mcguire Black of North Sidney, NS and Lily Fowler of Vancouver, BC; his siblings, Gary Black of Barrington, Ronald Black (Francis) of Oakville, ON and Barbara Ann Beaumont of Scarborough, ON; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Long (Jim) of Amherst, NS and Ken Thompson of Ottawa, ON. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
