He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Tower and Eva Tower (Landry); his former wife Barbara Tower (Harrison); the mother of his children Barbara Tower (Harrison); his former wife Yolande; and his siblings, Helen Chambers (Charlie), Joan Pellerin, Walter "Bucky" Tower and Carl.

He is survived by: his pet Dixie; his wife Betty Baxter-Tower (Publicover); his children, Shirley Tower and Carl Tower (Janice); his stepsons, Ivan Brownell (Nicole), Michael Baxter and Wesley Baxter (Sandy); his grandchildren, Hayley, Kyle, Katrina and Calvin; and his brother-in-law Henry Pellerin. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions in Fred's memory can be made to Kidney Foundation, Cumberland Cancer Assistance Fund or to the LA Animal Shelter.
