George Leonard Simmonds Obituary
The memory of George Leonard Simmonds (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 8, 2025 at the age of 53, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Phyllis and Gladys; and his brother-in-law Harold Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Crystal; his mother Annie; his siblings, Mark (Heather), Charles (Margaret), Paul, Starr Simmonds (Alan Horton) and Nicole Cormier (Ian); his half-siblings, Harriette, Jonathan, Anita, Patricia, Vincent and Jamie; his mother-in-law Carol Stevens (late George); and his siblings-in-law, Gary Stevens (Tracy Patterson) and Connie Stevens (Doug O'Brien). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family member and very dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Jones Family Funeral Centre (70 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B2). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
