He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerald Blenkhorn and Estelle Blenkhorn (Cormier); his wife Emilie (LeBlanc); his brother Robert Blenkhorn; his siblings-in-law, Earl Smith and Diane Blenkhorn; and his father-in-law Emile LeBlanc.

He is survived by : his children, Kim and Steven (Diane); his grandson Kyle Mitchell; his great grandchild Hayden; his siblings, Sheryl Smith of Nepean, ON, Fred, Anne (Mike) of Winlaw, BC and Gary (Laura-Lena) of Goderich, ON; his sister-in-law Sandra Blenkhorn; his mother-in-law Seraphine LeBlanc; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald LeBlanc (Doris), Martin LeBlanc, Rachel Lavigne (Guy) of Shediac, NB, Ginette Comeau (Jean-Paul) of Shediac, NB, Suzanne Bourgeois (Maurice) of Shediac, NB and Odette LeBlanc (Perry Gallant) of Shediac, NB. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
