We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2022, at the age of 93, Jacqulyn Hitchcock of Amherst, Nova Scotia, born in Bath, New Brunswick passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jacqulyn Hitchcock to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald Wheeler and Mary Wheeler; her husband Douglas; and her siblings, Donald, Robert, Glenna, Carrie, Mary, Kay, Anna, Clara, Polly and Judy.

She is survived by : her children, Paul (Christine) of Gander, NF, Wayde (Raylene) of Dartmouth, N. S. and Sally of Cornwall, PE; her siblings, Martha Southan of Wicklow, N. B. and Michael Wheeler of Woodstock, N. B.; and her grandchildren, Susan, Jennifer, David, Heather, Chelsey and Jerica. She is also survived by 12 great- grandchildren.

Donations in memory of Jacqulyn may be made to First Baptist Church, Alzheimer Society, or a charity of choice.

“Sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Hitchcock. She was a teacher of mine in Nappan. She even had me come to her place in the summer for extra classes so I wouldn't have to repeat a grade. You don't hear tell of many teachers helping students like that anymore. So long for now. I'll never forget you.”
