She was predeceased by : her parents, Allen Langille and Lucille Langille (Vincent); her husband Garnet Ferdinand; and her sisters, Marguerite Knight, Muriel Latta and Darlene Langille.

She is survived by : her children, Glenda Porteous (John), Elaine Mayne (Scott), Craig Ferdinand (Paula), Maria Ferdinand, Garnetta Ferdinand and Jeromiah Ferdinand (Andrea); and her siblings, Ella Lockhart, Shirley White, Leona Sachs (Mike) and Ken Langille (Bonnie). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
