Joan Diane Richard Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Diane Richard of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 26, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo LeBlanc and Clara LeBlanc (Casey); her husband Bill; her daughter Susie; her siblings, Gertie, Norma, Yvonne, Roy, Bill and Leo Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Trepanier and David Richard.
She is survived by: her grandmothers, Jamie, Nickie, Julie and Abbie; her daughter Vicky; her son-in-law Mike Comeau; her grandchildren, Adam (Maura), Jordan (Leanne), Mickey (Devon), Andrea (Landen) and Ashley; her great grandchildren, Blakely, Madelyn, Jordyn, Evie, Nash, Beau, Chase and Darby Rose; her sister Tillie Stillman; her siblings-in-law, Diane Gautier, Barb McLeod (Ian), Connie LeBlanc, Patsy Robbins, Bobby Richard (Karen) and Teddy Richard (Peggy); and her sibling's children, Teal and Ellie.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Campbell's Funeral Home (98 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B4).
Donations may be made in Joan's memory to Cumberland Regional Palliative Care.
