He was predeceased by: his daughter Anne; and his brothers-in-law, David Burgess and Bruce Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Jean (Burgess); his sons, John and David (Rebecca Simpson); his grandchildren, Evan, Emily, Quinn and Marilla; and his sibling's children, Cliff Burgess and Wendy Burgess.
