She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Poplar and Eva G. Poplar (Rector); and her brothers, Danny, Terry and Keith.
She is survived by: her sons, Troy Carter (Leslie) and Michael Carter (Laverne); her grandchildren, Josie, Jacob, Brandon and Katie; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Gabby, Carter and Casey; and her siblings, Beverley Rosenberg, Nancy McKeigan, John (Edie), Maxie (Nancy), Michael (Randi), Marty and Randy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
