She was predeceased by: her parents, Captain Robie and Florence Nickerson (Hood). She is survived by: her sons, David (Anne), Robie, New Glasgow, Paul (Annette), Amherst Shore and Peter (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Geoff, Stephen, Michael, Kimberly and Brianna. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Amherst Cemetery (83 E Pleasant St, Amherst, NS B4H1N2).
