She was predeceased by: her mother Phyllis Wanetta Mawdsley; her granddaughter Tara Mawdsley; her brother Jimmy Mawdsley; and her parents-in-law, Kervin Pettigrew and Phyllis Simmonds (Gilbert).

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth "Bucky"; her children, Mark Mawdsley (Joanne) and Tammy Maloney; her grandsons, McKenzie Mawdsley, Travis Maloney and Ty Maloney; her great grandchildren, Sarah, MacKay and Bentley MacKay; her siblings, Lynda Hicks, Sharon Carron and Terry Mawdsley (Jeanette); her siblings-in-law, Paula, Irene (Nels), Wendy, Beaver (Shelley), Dellas (Katrina), Cyril (Cindy), Dale (Lori), Peter (Diane) and Paul (Jackie); and her close friend Michelle White. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
