She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rushton and Iona Rushton (Harrison); her husband George; her siblings, Iona Rushton and Nelson Rushton; her brother-in-law George Gamble; her niece Cheryl Ann Gamble; and her uncle Reg Harrison.
She is survived by: her son George Hollis (Sharon) of Hastings; her grandchildren, Bradley (Sydney) and Jennifer (Aundrea); her great grandchildren, Everett, Ethan, Georgia and Zander; her siblings, Susan Gamble of Hubley and Reg Rushton of Springhill; her sister-in-law Essie Rushton of Springhill; and her aunt Elsie Harrison. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Campbell's Funeral Home (98 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B4). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
