She was predeceased by: her parents, Stuart MacKay and Mildred MacKay (Tingley); her husband Walter; her daughter Carolyn Yorke; and her sister-in-law Karen MacKay (Carole MacKay).
She is survived by: her daughters, Kim MacKenzie (Allan) of Amherst and Norma Hunter (Ronnie) of Amherst; her grandchildren, Amy (Lawrence), Roger, Michael, Kennie (Hannah), Courtnay (Gaston), Jaret (Terrilynn) and MacKenze (Kenny); her great grandchildren, Zander, Jax and Blakelee; her siblings, Jack MacKay (Marie), Phyllis Munroe (Junior), Eldon MacKay (Anna) and Fred MacKay (Vicki); and her sister-in-law Carole Gallant (Lloyd).
