It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Gilroy (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 18, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Trenholm and Gladys Trenholm (Atkinson); her husband Elmore; her son Rick; and her siblings, Winston Trenholm, Patricia MacEachern and David Trenholm.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary, Katherine Gilroy (John) of Fall River, NS and Charlene Gilroy (David) of Prince George, BC; her daughter-in-law Rebecca Gilroy of Fall River, NS; her grandchildren, Hilary (Peter), Stephanie (Spencer) and Laine Marie; her great grandchild Weston; and her sisters, Pauline Lebouthillier (Phil) of Moncton, NB and Joyce Trenholm of Moncton, NB. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
