With sadness, we share the passing of Myrna Cranton (Amherst, Nova Scotia). Myrna, born on December 30, 1944, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Myrna for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Myrna’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burpee Cranton and Frances Cranton (White); her half-brother Ira Langille; her nieces, Jennifer, Julie and Chantelle; and her nephew Jeffery.
She is survived by: her brothers, Frank (Diana) of Ottawa and Gordon (Mary) of Amherst.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Campbell's Funeral Home (98 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B4).
Donations in Myrna's memory can be made to the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre or the Canadian Cancer Society.
