Myrnetta Ann Read Obituary

We announce the death of Myrnetta Ann Read (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 1, 2026, at the age of 100. Myrnetta Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Angus Holden and Estella Holden (Carter) of Lower Maccan, NS.; her husbands, Floyd Bowser and Richard Read; her daughter Sharon Lee; her brothers, Bill, Donald (Laura), Melvin (Nellie) and Keith; and her son-in-law Tony van of Wiel.

She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah van of Wiel and Sheryl Coates (Eric); and her sisters-in-law, Glenda and Erma. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
