He is survived by: his wife Wanda; his children, Elizabeth (Conrad), Keith, Amanda (Brian), Lacey, Matthew (Megan) and Tiffany; his brothers, Keith (Heather), Robert and Alton (Jane); his aunt Ann; his uncles, Hank and Mac (Barbara); his parents-in-law, Jack and Dianna Wheaton; and his siblings-in-law, Jack, Stephen, Lynn, Shelley, Tammy (John) and Crystal. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Donations in Perry's memory may be given to the Gospel Light Baptist Church.

“I am so very sorry to hear of Perry’s passing. Last I saw of him was at the hardware store, around 1976. He had borrowed, (and returned) a 8-track tape of “ Tommy”. I considered him a friend, but I did not stay in contact. I also remember June. A very nice lady. I wish to offer my sincerest condolences to family, and friends of Perry’s. I moved to Ontario in 1976. Rest in Peace my friend. Thanks for the great memories.”
