She was predeceased by: her parents, David MacLaren and Velma MacLaren. She is survived by: her husband Vern; her daughters, Kelly-Jo (Andrew), Debra-Dawn Collicott (John) and Tammy-Lynn (Chris); and her grandchildren, Drew, Myles, Kale, Haven, Noah and Danica.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Amherst Fire Hall (62 Albion St, Amherst, NS B4H2W1).
