He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Fitzgerald and Muriel Fitzgerald (Ward); his brothers, David and Jack; and his granddaughter Shannon.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Vickie, Stacey Fitzgerald and Scott; his sisters, Donna MacKenzie, Linda Gillis and Marlene Wheaton; and his grandchildren, Jordynn, Daulton and Derian.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Campbell's Funeral Home (98 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B4).
