With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roderick Briggs of Amherst, Nova Scotia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorne Briggs and Mary Briggs (Gaudet); his wife Leta; and his siblings, Margaret Bell (Gordon) and Robert "Bob" Briggs (Margaret).

He is survived by: his children, Roderick Jr., John Toronto (Christine) and Shelley O'Brien (Ken); his grandchildren, Michael O'Brien (Deanna), Tyler O'Brien (Sara), Devin (Brittany) and Alyssa Briggs (Sam); his great grandchildren, Cassandra-Ann, Reyleigh, Ryker, Emma, Bobby, Jackson, Elizabeth, Evrin and Freya-Mae; his nephew Kenny (Nancy); and his close friend Janey Arsenault. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
