He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Embree and Marion Embree (Chapman); his wife Mary (Gouchie); and his sisters, Patricia Simpson (Reed) and Shirley Ann.

He is survived by: his sons, Tony and Rod (Amanda); and his granddaughter Elyse. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
