He was predeceased by: his wife Judy (Sweet); his parents, Laura Carter (Bea Bowser) and Harry Carter; his siblings, Pauline (Robert Griffiths), Vernon (Theresa), Harold (June), Leslie (Earlene) and Gerald (Betty); his brother-in-law Bob Blenkhorn; his parents-in-law, Lillian and Russell Sweet; his siblings-in-law, Helen (Bill Smith) and Brian Sweet (Dorothy); his granddaughter Katrina Earle; and his nephews, Greg Carter, Eric Carter, Larry Griffiths, Kevin and Brad.
He is survived by: his children, Sharlene (Mike) of Amherst, John (Barbara) of Amherst and Sherman (Peggy) of Amherst; his sisters, Marilyn (Howard Bacon) and Sandra Blenkhorn; his grandchildren, Daniel (Brittany), Brittany (Kyle Ouellette), Jillian (Eden Bugoi), Meghan of Alberta, Jessica (Terry Ripley), Timothy Earle of Amherst, Felix (Gabriel VanderGrift) of Truro and Sarah (Charles Range) of Ottawa; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Zoe, Melody, Harmony, Carolina, Conway and George. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
