She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Winters and Bessie Winters (Warren); her husband Melvin; her daughters, Linda Ripley and Phyllis; her grandchildren, Crystal, Jamie and Cody; and her siblings, Josephine, Vera, Nora, Louis, Harvey, Hance, Carl, Jack, Bill, Keith and Orland.

She is survived by: her children, Sheila Ripley (Ray) of Barnesville, NB, Evelyn Fenton (Danny) of Sussex, NB, Laura Paugh (Eldon) of Amherst, Henry (Kim) of Truemanville, NS, Tom (Kim) of Pointe de Bute, NB, Jim (Irma) of Brookdale, NS, Roy (Debbie) of Truemanville, NS, Paul (Robyn) of Truemanville, NS, Melbourne (Teralisa) of Brookdale, NS, Lee (Sue) of Amherst and Jay (Trish) of Truemanville, NS; and her brothers, Fred and Frank Winters. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren, and many, many nieces and nephews.
