She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Stevens and Vivian Stevens (Brown); her husband John Mason; her sister Muriel Casey; her granddaughter Melissa Lynn; and her close friend Jerry Jamieson.
She is survived by: her children, Randy (Laura) of Truro and Patti (Rene) of Moncton; her grandchildren, Greg (Jessica), Justin (Desiree) and Janelle; and her sister Judy MacKay of Oxford. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Pugwash River Cemetery (641 Pugwash River Rd, Port Howe, NS B0K1K0).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruby's memory may be made to the Pugwash River Cemetery or the Canadian Cancer Society.
