It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Nickerson (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her former life partner Glen Harlyn Porter; her husband Rupert Wesley Nickerson; and her parents, Hazel Melanson and Joseph Williams. She is survived by : her sons, Harlyn Porter (Kandi) and Joseph Porter; her grandchildren, Alex and Zoey Porter; her stepgrandchildren, Starr O'Loughlin (Dave) and Holly O'Loughlin; her great grandchildren, Juliana, Jesse, Joshua and Noah; and her siblings, John Williams and Beverly Muise. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
