He is survived by: his partner Charlene Smith; his daughters, Jessica Hurley of Fort McMurray and Megan Hurley of Amherst; his partner's son Zachery; and his siblings, Daniel (Trudy) of Trenton, NS, Robert (Marlene), Deborah Emslie (Ricky) and Catherine Collins (Dara).
