We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2021, at the age of 94, William Mitchell (Amherst, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Mitchell and Christina "Tena" Mitchell (MacDonald); his former life partner Ramona (Campbell); and his sister Evelyn McArthur. He is survived by : his wife Beatrice of East Amherst; his daughter Cathy Sangster (Gary); his grandsons, Joe of Halifax and Chris (Ange) of Beaver Bank; and his stepsons, Stephen Bird (Sandra) and Paul Bird (Elaine).
