He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Weir and Maude Weir; and his siblings, Alfred Jr. and Barbara Hogan. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Weir (Julie Wile) of Wilmot, Adam Weir (Bridget Foley) of Digby and Kelly Gillis (Adam Gillis); his granddaughter Cheyenne Gillis of Moschelle; and his brother Robert Weir (Valerie) of Sechelt, BC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
