It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Jean Jenkins of Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 9, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Melbourne Ruggles and Vera Ruggles (Rafuse); her husband Earl; and her siblings, Isabel MacAulay, Doris Power, Lawrence, Harold and Vernon.

She is survived by : her children, Jim Noonan (Ellen Crowley), Judy Noonan (David Sutherland) and Carolyn McLellan (Robert); and her siblings, Hazel Read (Ken), Ella Jean Costley (Bruce Caldwell) and Allison (Julianna Bullock). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions, a family service will be held at a later date.

Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or the Canadian Cancer Society.
