Adele DeLorey Obituary
We announce the death of Adele DeLorey (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 2, 2026, at the age of 82. Adele will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Léo Benoit and Alice (DeYoung); her brothers, Louis (Gladys), Charles (Josie), Bernard (Josephine), John, Leo and Gerard; and her in-laws, Leonard, Emma, Bernadette, Claire, Jerome, Rita, Johnny and Rose.
She is survived by: her husband Henry; her children, Cathy (Dartmouth), Paula, Jeffery (Marjorie) of British Columbia and Chris; her grandchildren, Nikki, Devin, Kaleb and Daniel; her siblings, Martha, Alfred (Adèle) and Yvonne; and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth (Zabeth), Annie DeYoung, Isabelle Broussard, Theresa Murphy, Jean DeLorey, Joe (Veronica), Anthony (Carol), Charles (Joannie) and James Clement (Jeannie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
