Alex Champoux Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alex Champoux (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alex Champoux to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Richard and Charles Eduard Champoux; and his sisters, Jacqueline (Leo Phelan) and Germaine (Bill Phelan). He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Wallace); his sons, Marc (Clare), David (Pam) and Robbie (Margo); his grandchildren, Luc, Josee, Gabe, Daniel, Ryan, Gavin and Emily; and his sister Yvette (Glen Loffree). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the MacIsaac Funeral Home (61 Pleasant St, Antigonish, NS B2G1W7). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Ninian Cathedral (121 St Ninian St, Antigonish, NS B2G1Y9).
