She is survived by: her spouse Harris Royston Amit (Eric); her sisters, Monica (United Kingdom) and Camilla (Sri Lanka); her daughter Minoli Amit Antigonish (John Hamilton); her son-in-law Peter Tufts Halifax (Iromi Amit); her daughter Udeni Amit Halifax (Andrew Roger); her grandchildren, Alistair Hamilton, Claire Hamilton (Glenn Graham), David Hamilton, Julia Tufts (Joseph Daniel), Daniel Tufts, Rene Amit and Dominique Amit; and her great grandchild Alec Graham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
