She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Baxter and Irene Baxter (Taylor); her brother Raymond; her sister-in-law Joan Baxter; her sister Margaret; her brother-in-law Harold'Himmie'Ballantyne; her sister Alice; her brother-in-law Gerald Bent; her son-in-law Tom Peck; her nephew Daryl Baxter; and her great-niece Madison Otto.
She is survived by: her husband Allan Adams; her children, Brenton Cape George (Kelly), Brenda Chiasson (David) and Lynn (late Tom Peck); her grandchildren, Lauren, Jarrod, Samantha Chiasson and John Allan Peck; her siblings, Ruth Bent, Clare Savoie (Johnny) of Dalhousie, NB and George Baxter (Anne); Lauren Boyle.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 28th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, January 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the MacIsaac Funeral Home (61 Pleasant St, Antigonish, NS B2G1W7). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. James United Church (197 Main St., Antigonish, Nova Scotia B2G2B8).
