He was predeceased by: his parent Mabel Tobin; his wife Ethel Mae MacInnis; his son Blaise (Jan); and his sisters, Majorie Tobin and Aloma Hawley.
He is survived by: his parent Thomas Tobin; his daughters, Charmaine Bowman (Terrance), Darlene Sullivan (Jeff) and Tracey Pitts (Basil); his daughter-in-law Jan Tobin of Antigonish; and his sister Elizabeth Thibodeau of Troy, NS. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He believed in giving to those less fortunate than him and showed that by his extremely generous donations to many charities.
