He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike MacPherson and Kaye MacPherson (Beaton); his wife Mary Janette MacDonald; and his sister Eugena Bernadette. He is survived by: his sons, Lawrence (Ashley) and Lewis; and his siblings, Mary MacEachern (Jerome), Moira, Karen Chisholm (late Alex), Bill (Brenda), Allan (Hughena), Peter (Debbie), Michael (Cathy), Beaton (Tena) and Daniel (Eileen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation, with COVID-19 protocols of maintaining a distance of 6 ft. and wearing a face mask, will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 on Wednesday, August 19 in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish with funeral mass Thursday at 11 am in St. Margaret of Scotland Church, Arisaig with Rev. Colin MacKinnon presiding.
