He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Franklin; his wife Katrina Pyne; his son Ethan (Suzanne); his granddaughters, Sydney and Savannah; and his brothers, Clark (Jennifer) and Mike (Tracy). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the St. Martha's Regional Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit).
