She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter James and Catherine Vietha Diggins (Bowie); her significant other Allan MacPhail; and her siblings, Wilma Boudreau (John), Donalda Kinsmen and Ambrose Tate.
She is survived by: her children, Walter and Tanya (Bayfield); her siblings, Mary Grover (Joe), Wally Diggins (Denise), Neil Diggins and Liz Tate (Linwood); her nieces and nephews, Rhonda Chisholm, Tammy, Shannon Pettipas, Candace Power, Steve Benvie, Kara and Alex Guthro; Daisy. She is also survived by her grand nieces and nephews, whom she treated as her grandchildren; and her aunts.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. L. Curry Funeral Home (135 College St, Antigonish, NS B2G1X9). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church.
