She was predeceased by: her father Michael "Buddy" Boyle of Afton; and her brother Jimmie Boyle. She is survived by: her mother Louise Boyle; her husband Brian Hodgson; her children, Holly (Scott DeCoste), Jimmie (Meghan Lebans), Adam (Natasha Landry) and Karla (Bryan Hulbert); her grandchildren, Alex, Abby (Garrett), Sophie, Rowan, Payton, Callie, Quinn, William and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Fulton and Peter; and her siblings, Kenny Boyle (Patsy), Bunny Brosha (Sylvester), Debbie LeVangie (Jimmie), Steve Boyle (Lee) and Kerrie Boyle.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the C. L. Curry Funeral Home (135 College St, Antigonish, NS B2G1X9). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (45 Old Trunk Rd, Monastery, NS B0H1W0).
