It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Elizabeth Gillis of Antigonish, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Hugh; her children, Marianne (Conal) and Neil; her grandchildren, Freya and Arthur; and her brother Don (Maria). She is also survived by loving cousins and, nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the C. L. Curry Funeral Home (135 College St, Antigonish, NS B2G1X9). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stfx University Chapel (4120 University Ave, Antigonish, NS B2G1R8).
