He was predeceased by: his parents, Wally MacDonald and Alice MacDonald (Mitchell); his children, Emily Sharron and Tim; and his siblings, Bill, Helen, Betty and Joan.
He is survived by: his wife Sharron (Cruickshank); his children, Daniel (Cole Harbour), Linda Hartery (Edmonton), Antigonish, Lisa MacNeil (Antigonish) and Betsy Bridle (Steve); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Chris MacDonald, Riley, Max, Keigan Hartery, Emily (Derek), Courtney (Steve), Anna MacNeil (Mitch), Brittany, Tiffany and Shawn Bridle; his great grandchild Addison Bridle; and his brothers, Grant, Enfield, Ralph and Antigonish. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mental Health Association of Nova Scotia appreciated.
