Eileen Shabala Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eileen Shabala (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2025 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eileen Shabala to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Gilfoy and Nellie Gilfoy (MacFarlane); and her brother Mike. She is survived by: her daughters, Carriff Cooke (Zach) and Amy Barney (Len); her grandchildren, Jensen, Ross, Barrett, Hannah and Lucas; and her siblings, Susan, Tim, Joan, Hal, Tann, Marty, Barbie, Danny, Michael, Kevin and Allana.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Ninian's Cathedral (121 St Ninian St, Antigonish, NS B2G1Y9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Martha's Regional Hospital Foundation or L'Arche Antigonish.
