He is survived by: his friend Georgia; his children, Natasha Ehler and Brendan Bowie; his siblings, Jim Bowie (Margie) and Louise Boyle (Afton); and his sister-in-law Elaine Bowie (Afton). He is also survived by four grandchildren.

Donations may be made to Tracadie Parish towards the purchase of a new lawnmower tractor.
