He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex'Sam' MacPherson and Mary MacPherson (Lays); his wife Margaret MacPherson (Margie); his daughters, Denise and Margot; and his siblings, Gordie, Joseph of Sam, R. J., Doug, Alex, Mary, Alexandria and Therese.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott), Alison (Benedikt), Gemma, Calum, Mairead and Bree; his great grandchildren, Hazel, Charlotte and Dryden; his brothers, Harvey (Anne) of Antigonish, Jack (Patricia) of Antigonish and Fr. Gary of Antigonish; and his brother-in-law Dave MacKenzie (Colleen) of Addington Forks.
