It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Pearl Pettipas (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 17, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Elias and Rose Madonna DeCoste (Levangie); her husband Joe; and her siblings, Carlie, Yvonne and Ida.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Rose Pettipas, Cory, Jeffrey, Travis and Stephen Pettipas (Sarah Joyce); her grandchildren, Loretta, Bradley and Chad; her children, Donna Burton (Carl) and Russell Pettipas (Mary); her grandchildren, Josh, Jenna and Elaine Carr (Brian); her children, Shawn, Tyson, Carol Greencorn (Freddie), Brianna, Brittany, Theresa Samson (Wayne), Roslyn, Abby, Bernice Meister (Gary), Rachel, Katelyn, Laurie Chisholm (Anthony), Taylor and Brayden; her brother Lawrence DeCoste (Annette); and her sister-in-law Darlene DeCoste. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass for Emma will be held in St. Peter's Church, Tracadie, when COVID restrictions have been lifted.
