It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eric Lawrence Proudfoot (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Proudfoot and Catherine "Kate" Proudfoot (Grant); and his siblings, Grant, Ralph, Frank, Elmer, Jean, Shirley, Holley and Audrey Kean.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn (Beaton); his daughter Jean; and his son-in-law James "Cub" Rossong.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Ninian's Cathedral (121 St Ninian St, Antigonish, NS B2G1Y9).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CARMA Antigonish Chapter, Coastal K9, or a charity of your choice.
