With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude Sanderson (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), born in London, Ontario, who passed away on June 11, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Dr. Thomas Phillip and Helen Kearns (Koehler); her husband George Stephen Sanderson; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Mizgala. She is survived by : her sons, Eric (Megan Provost) and Brendan; her granddaughter Candace; her brother Tom Kearns; her cousin Joan MacKinny; her stepmother Betty Dirks; her half-sister Mary Dallon; and her siblings-in-law, Stephen Sanderson (Nancy), Géri McLean (Robert "Bud") and Stanley Mizgala.
