She was predeceased by: her husband John; her daughter Gladys Hudson; her siblings, Tyrus Cooke, Margaret Sinclair, Olive MacKay, Mary Kendrick, Daisy MacKay and Louise Cooke; and her daughter-in-law Mary Henderson.

She is survived by: her children, John of Park Falls, Joan MacDougall of Williamswood, Ella Wallace of Antigonish, Georgia Henderson (Elmer Bowie) and Eleanor Stewart (Brian) of Park Falls; and her son-in-law Henry Hudson of Country Harbour. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimers Society of Nova Scotia, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society.
