She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Archibald MacDonald of Antigonish and Catherine Florence "Tat" MacDonald of Antigonish; her brother Gary; her father-in-law Leonard Connolly; and her brother-in-law Paul.

She is survived by : her husband Stephen; her mother-in-law Anna (Connolly); her children, Carolyn (Ivan Aikens), Eric (Terri), James (Sarah George) and Valerie (Derek Felderhof); her siblings, Maureen (Gus Farrell), Brenda (Len McKeough), Dianne (Alex Pettipas), Danny (Marian), Mary (Chris Brazeau), Colleen (Dave MacKenzie) and Bernadette (John Delorey); and her grandchildren, Annika, Maddy, Ewan, Ira, Farrah, Noah, Niall and Lucinda.

Memorial donations may be made to Saint Martha's Regional Hospital Foundation (Renal Dialysis Unit).
