He was predeceased by: his father John D. Boyle; his wife Anne; his brother John W.; and his parents-in-law, Corporal James "Jim" and Helen Boyle.

He is survived by: his mother Mary Boyle (Smith); his children, Shannon Boyle (Nate), Megan Boyle (Dana) and Zachary Boyle; his siblings, Evelyn Pettipas (Charlie), Tracadie, Donald Boyle (Geraldine), Beauly, Allen (Donna), Fairmont, Margaret and Theresa Boudreau (Blaise); and his in-laws, Paul Boyle (Jennifer), Patsy Randall (Allie), Martin Boyle (Bernadette), Arthur Boyle (Julie), Sackville, Annabeth Boyle (late John W.) and Tracadie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and family, friends.
